but let’s get this straight:

we are no longer obliged to be
adored, approved, adapted
by any other than us (yes, that’s the benchmark).
we no longer depend on being seen and found.
no stranger whatsoever has any claim
to criticize, corrupt, change.
i get the feeling
constant vigilance is the fraud
survival puts up to look like life
